wooded hills by cool placid mountain streams, the resort is just a 30 minute
drive from Chiang Mai.

Day 4
For your second day of golf we visit the Alpine Golf
Resort; nestling in a valley between the mountain ranges in the heart of the
San Kampaeng natural forests. It is undoubtedly one of the golf courses in
Chiang Mai that boasts of the best in natural beauty and just a 20 minute
drive away. This course was designed by Ronald M. Garl, President of Ron
Garl Designs Company, located in Lakeland, Florida, USA. He is one of the
world’s best golf course designers, having won the award of ‘Golf Course
Designer of the Year’ in 1996, from the International Network Golf Industry. Ron Garl is the designer of most of the golf courses in the top 50
golf courses in Florida including the TPC at Prestansia and Palm Beach Polo
Club.

In the afternoon, visit the famous umbrella factory at
nearby Bo sang and the handicraft factories which line the road back to the
city. In the evening dine at another of Chiang Mai's fine restaurants, "The

Day 5
Our third round of golf is at the Gassan Marina Golf Club
a 20 minute drive away; designed by Mr. Pravit Reang-po in 2006 and at 7,596
yards with a par of 72 is the longest course in the north of Thailand. It
has been built around Chiang Mai’s largest lake and with breath taking views
of mountains, sweeping fairways, challenging water hazards and enough
bunkers to keep any golfer happy.

Take an afternoon off to relax and for a Sunday evening
visit Chiang Mai's walking street market where from 5:00pm, the centre of
the old city is closed to traffic and taken over by Handicraft markets,
musicians, artists and food stands where you can sample some of Thailand's
more unusual delicacies.

No visit to Thailand is complete without a trip to an
elephant camp so today, take a day off to see elephants displaying some of
their logging skills followed by a ride through the jungle. After this a
ride by ox-cart then by bamboo raft to complete this excursion.

After returning to Chiang Mai dinner at the "Suan Paak"
Thai restaurant perhaps.

Day 7
Back to golf for round four and today visit the Maejo Golf Club
just 20 minutes from the city. The course features rolling Zoysia grass
fairways and large challenging Korea Velvet greens with beautiful views of
Doi Suthep and other surrounding mountain ranges. With thousands of matured
Longan, Lychee, Mango, Pomello, and Tangerine trees alongside its fairways,
the golf course looks and plays more like a well-matured course rather than
a newly constructed one. The course also features several elevated tees not
only to allow golfers to enjoy the panoramic views of the course, the fruit
orchard and surrounding mountain ranges, but also to make plays on the holes
more interesting and challenging.

After such a "fruitful" round of golf, what better way to
spend the afternoon than to enjoy a herbal massage at one of Chiang Mai's
specialist wellness centres. In the evening of course you perhaps would
enjoy dinner at a Thai restaurant in one of Chiang Mai's 5 star hotels; the
Mandarin dhara devi, the four seasons hotel or maybe the Shangri-La Hotel.

Day 8
For round five we will visit Chiang Mai Highlands Golf
Resort which is just 30 minutes from Chiang Mai city. The course was
designed by Schmidt-Curley Design and features what some would describe as
the best greens in Thailand. The bunkers are typical of other Schmidt-Curley
designs, deep and severely penalizing to errant shots. Many greens slope
away from the fairway putting an emphasis on strategy and local knowledge.

In the afternoon a visit to the nearby spa is recommended
for your refreshment and in the evening perhaps visit The Palm Beer Garden
and Steak House for dinner.
