Action and adventure package
This six day, five night package includes White water rafting with mountain bike then elephant ride, a tree tops adventure with Flight of the Gibbons and sightseeing at Doi Inthanon with a jungle trek and waterfall visits. An evening dinner, Lanna style with a show of traditional dances and displays at Khum Khantoke.
Day 1
Collection from airport, welcome drink, familiarization and check in.
Day 2
You will be collected after breakfast at around 8:30 to 8:45am and taken to the elephant centre where you will have an elephant ride through the countryside (about 30 – 40 minutes).
Next you will move on to the base camp by the river to be equipped with your mountain bike for the 10 km ride through the jungle along a riverside track.
At the end of the ride, lunch is served after which you are instructed in safety procedures and will be provided with safety wear.
Now comes the real highlight of the day with a truly exhilarating 10km white water raft trip through the rapids on the Mae Taeng River.
After you reach the base camp you will be able to dry off and change into dry clothes before having a light snack and return to PJ’s Place.
Day 3
Today we will visit Doi Inthanon National Park. Doi Inthanon is the highest point in Thailand at an elevation of 2,565 metres above sea level.
We will leave PJ’s after breakfast at around 8:30am and drive first to the summit of Doi Inthanon. From here we will follow a trail through the jungle lasting about 30 to 40 minutes before continuing on and visiting the twin Royal Chedis built to commemorate the 60th birthdays of their majesties the king and queen respectively.
Afterwards, lunch (not included) and then visit the Mae Ya waterfall; a pleasant walk through the forest and then a climb to the top of the waterfall to enjoy the view there before returning to PJ's.
Day 4
Today is a free day when you may wish to explore the city on your own, visit a shooting range, take to the skies with a microlite excursion, take in a massage perhaps at one of Chiang Mai’s many wellness spas or indulge in a little retail therapy! The choice is yours.
Day 5
Today you will be collected after breakfast at around 8:30am.
After driving out to the Flight of the Gibbons centre you will be able to enjoy about one hours trekking along Mae Kompong waterfall and a visit to a hilltribe village before taking to the trees for a 2km experience above the forest by zip line. During the trip lunch is included.
In the evening we will dine at the Khum Khantoke centre for a traditional style Lanna dinner and displays of both traditional and ceremonial dancing.
Day 6
Today is free time before transferring to the airport for you onward journey.
